Hand Knit Felted Pan Handler with Hanging Loop

These Pan Handlers are an awesome addition to your kitchen and make great gifts for the cooks in your life. They are hand knit, by me, then wet felted to make a custom fit pot holder for all of your pans. Especially helpful for cast iron and stainless steel cookware with metal handles, but are also useful on any handle for extra safety and grip.

These come in various colors – choose your favorite – or they can be special ordered in colors of your choice with appropriate lead time. They are 5 1/2 – 6 inches long, not including the handy hanging loop. I knit the loop onto the handler before the felting process, so it is sturdily attached. The loop is not intended or designed to hang your pan from; it does allow you to hang the handler on your hanging pot rack with other looped pot holders.
If you need a different size, be sure to check the related product listings. I have some smaller and some larger for sale. Felting is not an exact science and there is a variation in sizes, but not in utility or quality. Contact me if you need a specific size that is not shown.

The 100% wool handlers are thick and heat resistant, but should not be left on pans placed in the oven, used too close to high temperatures or exposed to open flame. While they are more flame resistant than a cloth pot holder, I would say if the conditions would scorch or burn cloth, they will not be good for these handlers.
