Medium Hand Woven Reed Onion Storage Basket

Description

Onions should be stored in a cool (not cold) dark place with lots of air circulation.  This hand woven natural reed basket is perfect for storing onions, potatoes, fruit, snacks, etc. It is woven of lightly “tea dyed” round reed for a lovely color.  As you can see in the pictures, I added three metal stars to decorate the basket.

This is a one of a kind, unique basket.  Each onion basket is listed individually, so look closely at the photos for details.  This basket has a 6 inch opening, and is about 6 inches long, not counting the 3″ reed loop.  The basket has a distinctive “belly” shape and will easily hold three pounds or more of onions, potatoes, apples or other produce.   See other listings for additional baskets.  I list these separately so you are buying exactly the basket in the pictures.

I weave these of natural round reed, so they are durable and strong.  They are hand made, individual and unique.
