This is a terrific, hard working round flat felted hot mat, complete with a hanging loop! It is versatile and so easy to use and care for. Like all of my wet felted knit items, I hand knit this mat of 100% pure high quality wool, then carefully wet felted it. Additional shaping, and blocking is done to create this size and thickness.

This hot mat will protect your hands and your kitchen counter top. Spills? No problem! You can easily hand wash the mat and lay it on a towel to air dry.

(Note: Price is per hot mat and any props in photos are not included – but I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that! The Corelle brand glass bowls I am use as props on the mats are the 18 ounce and 28 ounce bowls. The cast iron skillet prop is an 8″ pan.)

This felted hot mat is about 5 1/2 inches in diameter, not counting the loop. It is thick enough to protect your counter, and soft enough to use to grab a pot handle.
