Lightning – Equine Storyteller

Stories by Lightning

Follow along the Lightning pages as she tells stories about the horses she knows. She is a collector of horse tales, and loves to share them to others as she relaxes under the Story Tree in her pasture.

I am not always around to transcribe her stories from her language to ours, but I try to capture them when I hear a new one.

Lightning is based on my own 23 year old Tennessee Walking Horse (TWH) mare, Candy. I have shared her life for almost 14 years now, and she has taught me quite a lot about listening to horses. She lived a whole lifetime before I met her, and has lived in multiple places since.

Candy and I would love your feedback on her storytelling, so please leave your comments.
