My favorite spot on our farm is high on the wooded property, where there is a deep forest clearing. It is a magical spot where a few native wild flowers bloom. This purse reminds me of that special place.
This purse was hand knit, by me, of 100% wool fiber in shades of forest browns with just a touch of purple and deep reds. It was wet felted to create a unique, heavy-duty, but very attractive purse. The coordinating zippered case is just right for keeping cards, cash and/or make-up safe in your purse.
This purse is 12 inches wide at the top and 12 inches high when flat or about 10 inches tall when standing. It is heavily wet felted to create a very sturdy thick felt. One of a kind, this bag would look awesome either dressed up or down. The zippered case is 6-1/2 inches wide and 5 inches tall.
The bag can be washed in cold water and dried flat or stuffed with a dry towel to dry more rapidly. This bag will hold up to any use and last a lifetime.
It is one-of-a-kind (OOAK) hand crafted item. There is only one in stock and I will not duplicate this purse. Any purse of this style I make in the future will be different yarn, or size or color, etc. I enjoy making different items, so most of my larger pieces will be OOAK.
